Australia Travel Itinerary #2

Australia Travel Route

Perth ->Geraldton ->Exmouth ->Broome ->Darwin ->Katherine ->Alice Springs/Uluru ->Adelaide ->Melbourne ->Sydney ->Byron Bay ->Gold Coast ->Brisbane ->Fraser Island ->Whitsundays ->Cairns

This route is similar to our first Australia itinerary, except that it adds the west coast. From or to Darwin, head through the Kimberlies and visit some amazing gorges and waterfalls. Head into the sleepy little town of Broome, where you will find the fabulous, 16 mile long Cable beach. Relax here and enjoy great weather and Chinese food. From there, head down to Kilbarri National Park for amazing waterfalls, wildlife, and canyons. Move on to Exmouth to check out some excellent reefs right off the shore and, if you can, diving with whale sharks before you continue to south to Shark Bay. There you can see, you guessed ti, sharks, as well as play with dolphins at Monkey Mia. Pass through the Pinnacles national park and reach Perth and enjoy Western Australia’s largest and most relaxing city. Here you’ll find great beaches and friendly people.  You can use Perth as a base to visit the southern coast of the country.
