New Zealand Travel Itinerary #1

Auckland (Waitangi) -> Tauranga ->Rotorua ->Waitomo Caves ->Wellington ->Nelson ->Franz Josef Glacier ->Wanaka ->Queenstown ->Milford Sound -> Te Anau ->Invercargill ->Dunedin ->Christchurch ->Wellington

This is the whole deal- both islands. Start in Auckland and take a quick trip to the bay of islands before heading to Rotorua and the Waitomo Caves where you can check out the amazing glowworm caves. Head east to Taupo, then down to Wellington, the capital. Take a ferry ride across to the South Island land in Nelson. After chilling out in Nelson for a few days, bead down to the Franz Josef Glacier. Keep moving south to Wanaka, and then into the adventure capital of New Zealand, Queenstown. From here you can start heading back north or head west and head around the southern tip. For the latter, head towards Milford sound, then down to Te Anau and over to Ivercargill. After seeing the tip, start moving north and stop in Dunedin, a busy little college town on the South Island. Blast your way north toward Christchurch and finish off in Nelson again.
